For New Patients & Their Families

Phone Calls

I believe that a physician should be responsive to any problems that arise in a timely and professional manner.  Therefore, I make it a priority to respond to any phone calls on the same day they are received.  In an emergency situation I can be alerted immediately through my phone system.

Insurance

I believe that ample time is necessary to understand a child's needs in order to provide the best care.  Insurance companies do not share this viewpoint and would have me rush through brief 15 minute visits.  This, I believe, leads to poor treatment and insufficient care.  Therefore, I've chosen to not participate in HMO's, PPO's, or Medicare.  Families pay privately at the time of the visit and are provided with a statement suitable for submission to their insurance company if applicable.
